The graduates from the master’s programme Electrical Engineering and Information Technology qualify for doctoral studies (e.g. a Promotion or PhD).
Currently, we have several doctoral researchers at the faculty, in the framework of a Promotion in cooperation with partner universities.
These partner universities award the doctoral degree. We have such agreements with several universities, e.g. with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU).
We use external funding and specific faculty funds to finance the doctoral researchers.
