BEACON: Behavioral Analysis of Communication and Negotiation
Project Objective:
BEACON aims to capture and analyze the cognitive and emotional dynamics of communication and negotiation. By integrating eye-tracking technologies and facial analysis, the project seeks to uncover patterns in nonverbal communication that influence behavior in negotiation settings. The goal is to generate new insights that can be applied both in academic research and practical negotiation strategies. All objectives adhere to the principles outlined in our "Code of Ethics."
Background:
With the rise of digital communication and globalized negotiation processes, the ability to interpret and strategically employ nonverbal signals has become crucial. Emotional intelligence, nonverbal communication, and cognitive attention patterns play a central role in negotiation success; however, these aspects remain underexplored in research.
Expected Outcomes:
- Identification of behavioral patterns and emotional reactions that contribute to successful negotiations.
- Development of best practices for communication-based and behavior-oriented negotiation training.
- Integration of findings into the teaching of negotiation strategies.
